hey bud i am in the same boat got in my car today after the racing this weekend and man, my spec 3 is shot car won't move in 3rd or 4th and slips in second. overall it was a good clutch with lots of street miles. so i am looking for a tough clutch that won't break the bank.

if you can afford it, I think the overwhelming majority of people on the boards would say TEXTralia clutches are the best. I would have to agree.

Not many options there. With a clutch you definetaly get what you pay for, & the only thing I'd consider is the Ram in your list.
I suggest to put up some coin for a good clutch & do it up the first time JMHO.

450hp=$1000 clutch?????

i think thats WAY too much to be spending on a clutch when your only puttin 450 the the rear wheels.i think if your putting 500+ that would be reasonable but 400-450 i think thats a little steep.

i just bought a RAM HD last night, only because im running nitrous and i wont need a super clutch ALL the time.

I see no Exedy in the poll.

I wasted my 1st one and they sent me a new one no questions asked.

I vote Exedy since they stood behind the first one.

"Best" and "cheap" do not go hand in hand. If you want the best then you have to pay for the best. Maybe you should retitle it "Best clutch in xxx price range"

I vote for a LS7 clutch,Im sure Gm R&D'd the **** out of it if they installed it behind a 427ci making 450hp to the ground ,but then again the ZO6 is a light car
