Lou's short stick/pro 5.0 Looking for the best place to obtain a lous short stick and pro 5.0 shifter combo. Thanks. |
Got mine from Afterthoughts Auto.. >>>>> |
I found mine in the For Sale section on here for around $150. Afterthoughts Auto is also a great sponsor to deal with. You'll like the Pro 5.0 w/ LSS. Best shifter combo to put in our cars in my opinion. |
not trying to change the subject but I have a pro 5.0 w/lss, just wondering if anyone elses' rattles if your hand is not on it. all the bolts are supertight with locktite on them. i know it vibrates alot but it shouldn't rattle, stock shifter was very quiet. it is really annoying. other than that I love it. |

Somebody did a write up on here some time ago about how to quiet it down. I think he used electrical tape and something else. I didn't pay much attention to it. It doesn't bother me, my windows are always down and the radio and exhuast drown out just about anything else. |
I have the LSS on the stock shifter(non Hurst)...would upgrading to the Pro 5.0 really make that much of a difference, of course keeping the LSS as well? |

I got my from ATA's and had to wait 3 weeks for shipping b/c Lou's didn't have any sticks avalable for shipment, I had to wait till the next batch. |
Got mine from Afterthoughts, great company to deal with. Don't have any rattling problems, any new noises, ect with it, either. Some loctite on the stick bolts, a little on the shift ball threads, and everything was good to go. |
