like the title says....just thought i read somewhere they did and want to get some confirmation...thanks

Tremec says yes. Upon rebuilding my T56 I found the opposite. I added one though during the rebuild. My SS is a late build car also, I mean I bought it in Aug 2002.

Some did some didnt. The vette was supposed to get it in the later year.

Does the vette use a t56? I know that the tranny is in the rear, but just wondering.

This has been my experience as well. Know 2 guys with 01-02 that had aluminum forks.

No there has never been a F-Body produced from GM that had a steel 3-4 fork stock to my knowledge. I have never seen one and I have built many f-body transmissions and none of them had one unless it had been rebuilt before.

My '02 had an aluminum fork...bent the living crap out of a few years back...
