Default Time for a new clutch...is the ls7 the best way to go?

Hey guys, well after my spec going out after 1000 miles i really dont want to give them anymore of my money. I had a spec 3 and only had 10-12 track passes on it when it welded itself to the flywheel. I am going to be adding about a 150 shot in the future and i want a clutch that will hold it. I am not crazy about spending 900 dollars on the t-rex clutch so .......will the ls7 fill my needs? I thought about a spec 4 or 5 but that will be a last option. Thanks for the help guys. Charles

I don't want to bash at all but at first I wanted spec and read too many bad things about it. From what I read about LS7 they are awsome and have awsome streetability. I am planning on getting one too, I also made a post. I will get either LS6 or LS7 either way and want to know where to get the best deal.
