Bellhousing Question

Before the McLeod was available, I ran the nice Exotic Muscle blanket, but technically it is not SFI Legal to run a blanket on a manual bellhousing. While the blanket carries an SFI patch, it's a patch for the automatic transmission rating, and not a manual transmission rating. Given the choice between spending $190 on a blanket or ~$350 on the bellhousing, I think the extra $160 is well worth it for the bellhousing. It also protects the block (while the blanket does not).

i hate the bellhousing personally, it adds ton of weight, have to beat and grind to make it fit and you cant blede your dang clutch without pulling the tranny which was the topper for me. i garuntee the next time i pull the tranny it will have a permanant modification to the belhousing so i can bleede my dam clutch, that stuff ticked me off something bad the other night.
