97 brakes on a 98 ss

97 brakes on a 98 ss
ok my question is in here becuase it has to do with the master/slave cylinder i found out when i got new brakes put on my car i have 97 rotors and calipers so would this mean i would have 97 master and slave cylinder

Umm... huh?
You have a '98 SS, right?
Unless something really weird happened, you should have '98 brakes. They are bigger and better than '97 brakes. '97 brakes are single piston, '98 are dual piston. Pretty obvious difference.
Now, that has nothing to do with the Manual Transmission (this section). You talk about brakes, but ask about the transmission master and slave? Brakes don't have slaves. You have a master cylinder, and you have calipers.

If you have an LS1, you have an LS1 master and slave.
If you have an LT1, you have an LT1 master and slave.
