Need a new clutch soon.....help!
So on my first pass at the track today my clutch basically took a ****....I need something new pretty quick. I have a Z06 clutch but I need something strong that will hold up to driving at the track but is streetable. I also cant really afford to spend 800-1000 bucks for a clutch so help me out guys....I have heard good things and bad things about the spec stage 3 and I heard the LS7 clutch is supposed to be badass.
suggestions, input....thanks a lot.

It's pretty hard to avoid $800 unless you're going to have your old flywheel re-surfaced; then you could find a SPEC stage 3 for around $400... I just tested my new McLeod ($890 w/new flywheel & adj master) after breaking it in, and I really like it. Definitely steet & strip material. You also want to get a new slave for your 98.

the LS7 is definitely something i considered......i have a bit more money that i thought i did so i would like to get a flywheel but i still want to get something affordable. Who sells the LS7 for a good price?
btw, will an LS7 hold up to a 150 shot?

Go here, one for the sponsors:
http://www.ls1speed.com/catagory.cfm...y=Transmission
Scroll down to get to the SPEC clutches, but I highly recommend the Mcleod clutches right above them.
