No not really, I just reacently did the swap and it consisted of changing wiring harnesses and pcm's deffinately need to be swapped. Its kind of a bitch honestly and if I were to do it again I would just sell my car and by one with a 6-speed.

I did an A4 to T56 swap and reflashed my PCM with HPTuners which I already had, and added two pins to the existing PCM harness. Not a problem.

Look in the parts for sale section here. I kept looking not even sure if I wanted to do the swap yet. Then I found a guy selling one about 3 hours from me so I drove and got it.
I was in a wrecked SS with 32,000 miles on it. The guy doesn't know it but when he went in the house I wrote down the vin, it matched the trans vin, carfaxed it and the mileage was correct. At the time my car had 34,000 on it. I even took the vin to GM to get a VIS and found a lot of maintenance records on the car.

It wasn't 100% complete but all the major parts were there. I had to buy mostly just the cosmetic stuff but thats ok because it all looks new inside.
