You cant use an ls1 flywheel with a ls7 clutch setup why whats the diff btwn the two. Boltpattern? I assume the ls2 flywheel lines up with the starter the same right?

the LS7 clutch like sits IN the LS2 flywheel....it's kinda weird i don't know how to explain it, but the LS1 flywheel is flat and the clutch kinda sits on top of it, where as the LS2 flywheel has a raised perimeter almost and the LS7 clutch kinda sits inside it....hard to explain as im not an expert, but it certainly looks different

i got my clutch from T56 rebuilds, and it DID NOT come with an alignment tool either...but i have my old input shaft from my trans rebuild so that works pretty well!
