Default Can't do a 1st to 2nd burnout :(

Alright, so I love to roast the tires on lonely country roads when no one is around but my car refuses to do a 1st to 2nd burnout. It will roast the **** out of the tires in first, but when I slam it into 2nd the clutch just burns. I can't tell if the clutch is the problem or something else?

If you get into 2nd gear, then most likely the clutch is just slipping.

No idea, bought the car used and the owner wasn't real specific on the mods. The car has almost 93k miles.

if it's stock hydraulics, might be as simple as need for drill mod. do a search.

Burn the clutch too many more times, and it'll be a clutch for sure. Probably already is.. spinning a stock clutch good one time can make it develop hot spots that may NEVER go away.

I didn't think the drill mod would pertain to my problem but after some more reading it looks like it may. I gave the car a good run through the gears on my way to work this morning and all seems fine except for the chatter that I've always had at low rpm's in higher gears
