Default Problem after LS7 clutch install**Did Search*

Hey guys my buddies did the LS7 clutch swap last night on my car, replaced the slave with a new one, new pp/flywheel..car wont go into reverse..if the car is off the it will go in reverse you can fire it up and back up..but when running it wont go..any ideas on where to start lookin for a fix on this? thanks!

btw Im thinking it might be the reverse lock out but cant comfirm right now...

I had a similiar problem. Bleed the clutch also. Try pumping the clutch, also you are going to have to run that clutch into the ground. I mean into the carpet for awhile so don't be afraid to do that. Let us know how it turns out.

You may see if your reverse lock out solenoid and the one next to it are backwards...That may do it also...

You need to bleed it with a mighty vac from the master cap with the rubber removed and a cone up against the vent hole and pump away. It works like a charm. I tried bleeding it the normal way and had the same problem you had. That did the trick though.

mine did the same thing pump it and drive it what ken rallyredss told me was to drive it and it would get better and it did, what the deal is is the slave and the pp are close together and most of the time touching when first installed. Thus giving the Ls7 the good grip that it does after driving mine and pumping the tar ouot of it at 29 miles it gave up the ghost and drives wonderfully GOOD LUCK!!!
