Default Hurst Pro Billet Plus w/ WS6 Store Short Stick Impressions

Well, I always thought I had the factory hurst shifter. I was wrong, I had to remove my entire center coucil to removed a rubber boot that went over the shifter. And then I thought to myself, that looks different then everyone elses. And it was, I have a Billet Hurst.

I installed the WS-6store ss, used locktite as people recommended, and bo bam I was done after putting everything back together. Took about 2 hours.

Driving Impressions:

Wow, night and day. I love the way this shifter feels now. Reminds me of my Maddog 58% redux I had in my SRT-4. Shifts are more quiet precise, you name it, it is better. Best 25 bux I ever spent. And the noise from the shifter is non existant. And no notchiness whatsoever.

Pro Billet + Short Stick = best shifter ever.

I had to take the entire center console apart. And removed a rubber boot that was attached to the chassis, and then run to the store to get a 7/32 allen wrench and some locktite. I thought it went pretty smooth actually.
