Default clutch pedal gets stuck

I running a stock clutch, I punched it in 2nd gear to 3rd gear, then I let off. As I am decelerating the clutch pedal gets stuck to the floor, a few secs later I put my foot under the pedal and manualy pull it back thens its good from then on. Do I need to do the drill mod on the master , or is this just how the stock clutch is ?
Any help is Appreciated

May want to consider upgrading all of the clutch hydraulics since you have a 2000 car. This is exactly what my car did to me. After upgrading...no problems! As for your second question, I doubt it will for long if you plan on making >500 torque. With the D1, I'd assume you were going to be.

May not be the hydralics, the fact you have 80000mi on the clutch means the pressure plate is tired. I had the same symptoms with pedal. I got a new clutch in mine after 90000mi and kept stock hydralics and car could not be any better. If you had 30000mi and the pedal was doing this I might say hydralics and drill mod, but most likely just pressure plate. When you get the clutch, go the whole route, upgrade hydralics replace pilot bearing and machine or replace your flywheel and you should be good to go. Also bleed the clutch and put in some new fluid.

The stock clutch will stay on the floor after you roast it like that in a 2nd to 3rd hard WOT run. I bet if you run a better clutch you wont have to do the drill mod. You are just over powering it. That is it's way of admitting to being crappy and weak.

Put in a Ram Powergrip HD a while back .With the basic modifications lid ,headers ,duals ,shifter , ls6 intake 1st spins and when Im messing around in 2nd I can slip it a bit and the tires will blaze up . When it hooks I can chirp 3rd and 4th .
this is still with a 3.42 so the clutch is a strong **** .
