Default Changed shifter out - E-brake messed up now (spring?)

I think I broke the "pawl" spring or it flung off somewhere so now my emergency brake no longer works. Anybody know where I can get a replacement springs or know how to ghetto rig it to work?

engaged or disengaged when you installed the new shifter?

I used a screwdriver to lift up on the pawl and then pulled the E-Brake up without any resistance. When the brake came all the way to the top I felt/heard a click. I pulled the console and sure enough, the spring that pushes the pawl down on the cam gear is missing. I couldn't get the console out with the E-brake disengaged (handle in down position).

I found the spring and put it back in, so I'm good to go.

The question still stands though, can I buy replacement pawl springs?
