Nice shift knobs for T-56's http://www.reichardracing.com/available_for_gm.htm I don't know if they're available yet, but they look pretty cool. Mike |
Re: Nice shift knobs for T-56's They look cool but I wouldn't use one. You don't grip the handle like that when shifting at the track ( at least I don't). Only the 1-2 shift would I keep a pistol grip. 2-3 is elbow in, push towards passenger front tire. 3-4 is elbow out, palm on the front of the shifter and straight back. I don't like metal knobs either. After using several differnt ones I went back to a stock leather coverd knob. The metal ones get real hot and slippery. Feels great on the 1-2/2-3 and easy to backhand on the 3-4. Like Justin, I wouldn't like the metal or the grip on these FWIW. |
Re: Nice shift knobs for T-56's Not bad but the round ones are a little ricey looking. Also, the stock threads are metric M16 x 1.5. Maybe 5/8"x 18 is close enough but I'd be leary to try it on my parts. |
