Default Unusual clutch sticking to floor problem - does it always

The trans was recently rebuilt and the slave replaced while it was apart. Ever since the clutch pedal tends to stay down after being held in for >20 seconds. It does not have to be driven hard to stick.

The engagement point of the clutch also settles towards the floor the longer I hold in the clutch, to the point it was difficult to take out of gear while still running.

I am assuming the master needs replaced, but wanted to check with the experts. This is on my basically stock '98 Z28.

Thanks. A new master has the engagement point right at the top!
