any way to fit an lt1 t56 on my ls1?

Default any way to fit an lt1 t56 on my ls1?

exactly as titled, i know the bellhousings are different but could i just get a ls1 bellhousing? i have a local guy with one for an lt1 and i can get a good deal, help me out!

input shaft lengths are different..lt1 is shorter i believe.

so no worky on that either? what if i could get that part and the bellhousing...would it work then?

if you can get the shortened input shaft and bellhousing then itll work.

You will have to change the input shaft, front plate and bellhousing. The input shaft on an lt1 is shorter, the bellhousing is different and the front plate on an lt1 will not bolt up to the ls1 bellhousing.

how much does the ls1 front plate, bellhousing and input shaft run? used preferrably...

Used bellhousing $150, used front plate $125 and used input $125.

If it is fairly priced it would be worth it. Might be just as good to find a LS1 trans as well. Not sure what he is charging you but that part is up to you.
