Resurfacing Stock PP and Flywheel

I'm going to be reinstalling my stock flywheel and pressure plate soon. I would like to get it resurfaced first as both have some hot spots. What is a safe amount to resurface them? I don't want my clutch engaging right off the floor. That's all, thanks!

I resurfaced my spec flywheel .040 w/o a shim because I couldnt get a hold of one and I couldnt tell a difference in engagement.

I think SPEC recommends 0.015 max. Haven't heard of anyone doing a PP before. I'd recommend replacing stock PP and disk--the hot spots are there for a reason.
