Default Slight grinding going into gear, what is it?

When the car is moving there is a slight grind going into all the gears, it's not really audible, just noticeable by feel, when the car is sitting still it goes into all gears like...buttah. I was wondering what this might be, any input is greatly appreciated. Again, it just feels like a slight grind, little bit rough going into all gears only when moving.

It could be hydraulics, tranny fluid, or synchros.

If the car is not moving it goes in just fine, but when shifting gears on the move, there is a little bump/grind going into all the gears, mostly 2/3/4. Also, when stopped and out of gear, if the clutch is disengaged I can hear a very light "gravel like" rubbing sound. It goes away when I press the clutch in.

I have the exact same thing and I cant remember if my first Z28 did the same thing. My father swears it did so maybe it's just the nature of the beast. It doesn't grind it just kinda pops in rough right?

It is not what should be. I suspect you have clutch that is not fully releasing. Bleed the hydraulics( pressure/ vacuum).

Now I'm having a sound that increases with the rpms that can only be described as "exhaust leak" like. It's a thump that gets faster/louder as the rpms go up. Anyone know what that could be? I'm replacing slave cylinder/pilot bearing/clutch/flywheel/pressure plate in a couple of days, if it's something else, I want to know now so I can go get it and replace. It is not an engine sound, I held the clutch in and revved it, no noise.
