I have a 1994 Trans Am with a 6 speed. When i got the car, it had a blown engine and i had it rebuilt. The transmission was perfect however and i drove it for about 4 months before i had any issues. It started out that i would have to pull the shifter down and towards me more than usual when goin into second otherwise it would grind like the clutch wasnt in all the way. One day i was getting on it a tad and shifted into second and nothing happend. From then on 2nd has been like nuetral. When i put it on there is absolutly no noise, and every other gear is perfect as well. i hear no rattling of any parts either. Did i completley ruin 2nd gear? is there any other possibilties? I tried switching stock shifters and even shifting it with out a shifter on it and it made no difference. Thanks

Well the only thing that matters is thre trans has to come out & be torn apart for an inspection/rebuild.
It could have broke few things has to come out either way.
