Bronze fork pads for 5 - 6?
I see a lot of people changing to the bronze fork pads on 1-4 but what about 5-6? I would think you want to do all of them but is there a reason so many only do 1-4?
Thanks

I only bought the 1-4 pads for my rebuild. When I got inside, the 5-6 pads were toast. It was just as easy to buy brass ones from SixSpeedsinc as it was to try and get some palstic ones, so I bought brass. Haven't got the car back together yet, so I cant comment on noise

The shifts on my car feel a lot more solid now since putting in the bronze pads. You can definitely feel the difference in the shift, whether you like it or not is a different matter.
The only way I can describe it is the difference between the two is like the difference in pushing in metal on metal versus metal through plastic. The plastic will be softer and smoother.
