I recently ordered parts for my transmission from them also and had an excellent experience! Amber returned PM's very fast, was very nice to talk to on the phone, and got the parts to me quick. Joe and Amber have one hell of a company and I will recommend them to anyone with T-56 needs!

For someone whose car is their ONLY mode of transportation, would it be possible for me to rebuild my T56 in my garage within 3-4 days. I have never rebuilt a car transmission, but am willling to learn and buy tools if I can save the shipping time and money.

I believe that either my stock 1998 T56 is on its way out, or I still have a hydraulic issue, and I want to be prepared if I do need to rebuild it when it finally goes. I would be ordering all my parts through T56Rebuilds.

Thanks,

-Jake

Jake,

Sure, just make sure you have all of the parts in hand, tools ready and the manual printed and I think you can do it.

Let me know if you have any specific questions on the rebuild process.

I've heard nothing but good things about these people. If my T-56 ever goes out, I'm sure they are the first people I will think about.

I have been looking around at the prices of clutches. I am having a problem with my pedal sticking to the floor. It does it all the time when I put it in reverse, sometimes I even have trouble getting it into reverse and it does it sometimes when shifting from gears 1 - 6. I can pump on the clutch and it will build pressure back up and it will be fine until I engage the clutch all the way to the floor again. I been told its the pressure plate and that when I replace the clutch I should replace everything (the throw out bearing, master cylinder, etc). If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I think I might have to e-mail Joe and find out if they have a package deal but from what everyone says they are great people to deal with.

I not sure but I don't think they had parts for the master,& slave I think I asked them when i bought all my parts from them but I can't be positive I ended up buying a ram slave and a mcload line kit and have had no problems with it. Amber and Joe keep up the great work and congrats on the new record.
