Are GM and Mcleod slaves different??????

Default Are GM and Mcleod slaves different??????

I'm about to put in a Mcleod revlokII setup. On thunders website it states Mcleod Slave then says its a 2001 GM slave. I want to know if there is a difference between the GM slave and the Mcleod Slave??? Anyone thats got one please RSVP. I need to know. I'm about to put this thing in and I have the GM slave. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure a slave is a slave is a slave. Just as long as it's the newer style from GM you're good to go.

Mcleod doesn't make a slave. They make a billet master cylinder.I believe the mcleod master is required with their kevlars thats why they're included. Not sure about the revlok. It's a heavy duty clutch tho so I'd go ahead and get one. Use the latest GM slave.

Use the GM slave cylinder.

The one on thunder's site is the GM slave. You notice they have a couple numbers in front of the GM part number

When I got mine I talked directly with McLeod, the slave they were making wasnt working as good as the new z06 slave, thats what they reccomend is the best, and get there master!
