Remote Bleeder
 

Here's the one we have been advertising on here.

We are making remote bleeders for the clutch. With this bleeder you can run it up to the engine compartment or out under the car to bleed the clutch. It also has a speed bleeder on the end so it's a one man operation to bleed the clutch. We are only getting top of the line parts to make them. One of the problems with making them is getting the fitting for the slave cylinder that will seal and not leak since it's not a machined surface. We have found what they call a bonded washer that will seal under high pressure to use on the fitting. We have also found a sealant to use on the threads that will not break down from the brake fluid. This provides a double seal for the fitting. We will be selling them for $75 with Free Shipping. Can you give us a rundown of the install process? Thanks.

Well first off you have to have the tranny out to install it. You just remove the stock bleeder then apply the sealant to the threads of the bleeder line and screw it in. You want to tighten it just until the washer is flat. You don't want to overtighten it. Then you just run the line out thru the access hole for the stock bleeder.

It's got 27K on it. But it is still pretty clean underneath. That's one of the advantages of living in Fl.

Everyone who pulls their transmission out for any reason should put one of these in while they're at it. I bench bled my new slave, connected it to my new master, ran the end of the remote bleeder up through the engine bay and zip tied it close to the clutch fluid reservoir. After bleeding it using the remote bleeder, I thought I'd see how many bubbles I could pull out through the fluid reservoir using a MityVac. I pumped it up to 14lbs or so and had my wife push the clutch petal in several times. Zero bubbles came out. I think it's safe to say that my system has zero air in it. I'm very impressed.
