The only time I miss my A4 was in a race, or in traffic on a steep hill.

Hmm, to me the "in a race" part is the BEST part to have an M6.

A4=not quite as fun, but for race it is the way to go. And a stall changes all of that. I like the feeling of "dumping the clutch" at 4k, but not hurting anything ^_^

M6 live by it, drive by it, die by it. I like those runs where some ******* pulls next to you and doesnt hear your cam and then boom you drop it to second and all he hears is that magic stick4 open upreal wide and say goodbye!

Haha, the only issue with the downshift on the M6 is that sometimes I run into people who don't have a clue about standards, and when I downshift, they hear it rev up and think I got on it, so they immediately take off without any beeps or anything. Luckily, these inexperienced drivers were usually in cars that didn't present much of a threat, so I caught and passed them quickly, haha.

Oh, no. This might not go well for we M6 guys.

I cannot stand to drive an A4. Just can not force myself to actually buy an automatic.

However, they are better for everything but gas milage.

And, dropping panties.

Ha! A4's can't beat that!!!

I agree ... stock, untuned, esp. with 2.73's, an LS1 A4 is horrible. Mine came that way and I hated it. Stalled, tuned, shift kitted, proper gears - different story. Love it.

I always liked my LT1 A4 w/3.23's and the performance shift button. Left it stock and was perfectly happy with it compared to friends' M6's that I drove.

Sticks are just that much more fun to drive. If I have to go downtown in traffic however I take the old lady's grocery getter, place my chin in my hand and drive, brake, drive, brake, you get the picture.

I love M6. Much more versital. I think i'm gonna build the M6 into a road race type car, and get an Z28 stripper and build it into a Drag car.
Have had both A4 and M6 LS1's. Like the M6 so much more for DD. If i get that A4 Z to build it will be a TH400 w/ a 4K stall and 9" rear undrivable S.O.B.!!
