Did you guys use a shim with your ls7 clutch setup? Where can I get one if I need to?

Do not use a shim. This clutch installs exactly like a stock unit.

Why would use shim this unit just to be curious? Just to get the engagement a little higher off the floor?

I forgot to remove the shim. It's out now since the motor is coming out but it didn't cause any problems for the 700 miles or so it was in there. It will not be going back in though.
