Default Who Sells A Complete T56?

I was thinking of buying a used tranny, but I figured that I would be better off buying a new one rather getting the used one in and then having to remove it for something being wrong with it. But I haven't been able to find a "built" t56 for an LT1 car. If anyone would suggest somebody who makes a good one at a reasonable price please let me know. I don't need anything radical, I'm planning on doing some road racing and mabye a couple trips to the track with drag radials, but mostly agressive street driving.

I'm also planning on getting a spec stage 3+ and a mcloed adjustable slave to do away with the problems with the stock slave. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks in advance

Have you tried RPM Transmissions?

http://rpmtransmissions.com/

They have lots of cores laying around and can possibly sell you an entire trans assembly that is fully rebuilt.

www.finishlinetrans.com

These guys do and I have never read anything negative about them. Type in T56 in the search and two choices come up.

I found a core and was able to re-build it into what fit my needs. I found this to be more cost effective if you can find a decent core. Six speeds inc are great to work with and really helped me out.

I contacted rpm to ask some questions, but 6speed inc is my second in line. I really don't want to spend $2500 just for the tranny, but will if I have to. I have no core so that kinda sucks. I'll deffinately post up what I decide to do though
