can't decide

i went through a zoom in a year. i found out i shouldnt have went with a zoom after i bought it. im now looking at a spec 3+ or dual friction. also i was reading that the pps are all the lt4s. is this true? if so i could get out a lot cheaper. i have a 96 lt1 car with around 550/500. thanks

I've had good results with DF clutches in 2 different applications of about the same power level :)

were these ls1 style or lt1. i've heard good things about the df also just never with a lt1 style. i assume the are close to the same as far as performance though.

not a huge fan of spec due to personal reasons and exp but if I were to pick one it be a Spec 3+ just dont slip it like stock, and you will be fine

My LT1 Z28 in my sig is only running a SPEC 3, not even a 3+, and even with 614 RWHP, and 555 RWTQ, and several track runs with slicks, it has not slipped on me or given me any problems what so ever.

I am actaully over the rating for the SPEC 3 though, so I am expecting it to go out sooner than if I had less RWHP. I plan on doing a 3+ when mine goes.

Long story short, you should be fine with just the SPEC stage 3. If you want the added insurance, go with the 3+. Either way, SPEC is probably the cheepest clutch that will hold up to the HP you are having, and last.
