shifter knowledge

Will a pro50 t56 shifter for a 03-04 Cobra fit my t56 in my 99ls1t56? I can get one a lot cheaper but I want to make sure it's the same housing and bolt pattern.

They are different. The opening for the shifter in the cobra tranny is much smaller. If you want to ride by the shop, I can show you the difference. We have a cobra and f-body transmission here to compare them by.
