how to disconnect master from slave...... i have no white ring!!!

Default how to disconnect master from slave...... i have no white ring!!!

i need to take out the master, i dont have the white ring around the connector to the slave and dont know how to get it off without it, unless someone knows.

Lol, I just went through this with my Vette. I tried everything, the easiest thing to do is go to a local autoparts store and get these bushings.. part #74016. It's a container of about 6 rings/bushings for brake and clutch pedal shafts. The package is red with HELP! on it. They are called Brake & Clutch bushings. Basically it's a piece that you'll be able to fit around the connector and slide it down and release the connector. It's only about $2.50 for the package and IMO its the way to go, it only took me like 5 seconds to slip it on and pull off teh connector. Hope that helps.

I used the same process as quik z06,
and it worked Great!
