Default Big Problem??

had a very loud grinding sound coming from the bell housing so i pulled the starter and and found a hole the size of a quarter in my bell housing... got a magnet and fished around and managed to pull out a metal ball(flat on 2 sides) and a chewed up bolt head & sheared off bolt... slave cylinder bolt and throw out ball bearing???? im not sure. anyone have any idea? if the slave bolt pulled out the trans could it be re-tapped to one size up? just trying to look at my options

Thanks

wow that could be anything in the bell housing area, could be a bolt holding the pressure plate, or flywheel or slave. the ball is most likely the throwout bearing!
