Default Anybody rockin a SixSpeedInc tranny?
Hey people, I had my transmission rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago, shipped it all the way down to Texas and had SixSpeedInc do a makeover on it. No problems so far Just wondering what other people thought.

amber an her team kick ***. i love my tranny. its hold the 700hp to the ground with no problems.

I've got one (GTO tranny), but since putting it in, I've had a clutch disengagement issue, so I haven't been able to really drive or race it at all.

I really liked the gearing for the short amount of driving I did with it until I found this issue.

I just ordered the kit. So cross your fingers as far as me rebuilding it. Im gonna beat the **** outa this header car to try and get low 12's.

I had mine done right before the 2006 power tour and it rocks. I have a Mcleod master cylinder issue, but the trans is spot on perfect. My shifter use to shake and vibrate in 2nd and 3rd due to issues, and now it's great. I've got roughly 10,000 miles on it and love it.

Ya know, I actually had a clutch disengagement problem a few weeks after I put the tranny in.. the clutch would kinda grind and do this wierd stuff even when I had the pedal all the way in.. I dealt with it for a couple weeks, then I got pissed and beat the crap out of my car.. and it went away, and that was like 8 months ago.. hah.. hmm.

Anyway I can get one of those.... I have been singing your guys praise for almost two years now. If it weren't for you folks (guys and gals) my Dad and I would never had made the power tour in 2006 and would have missed out on a weeklong father-son experience.

My GTO tranny is bolted up. I just need to put the rest of the car back together before I can actually try it out.
