How much HP on a SPEC stage II clutch? Whos got one?
Seriously considering the stage II, but see that most people get the stage III.
My goal is 400 at the wheels. If the stage 2 will hold just fine (maybe with a power adder too) than i'd rather go for the more streetable of the 2 clutches.
And, whats the diff between the 2 anyways?
thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I've had the Spec Stage III and II. I'm running the II now and I love it.
Here is what Spec's website says.
"Stage 2 Clutch Kits:Segmented chatter-free Kevlar disc w/ a 475 rear wheel hp capacity. Smooth engagement with a factory, to slightly stiffer pedal."
"Stage 3 Clutch Kits:3-Piece disc with your choice of carbon or ceramic material and a 6-wing design. Carbon material has a little better feel for the street, while the ceramic material has a more aggressive feel. Sharp but smooth engagement, light pedal, and a 650 rear wheel torque capacity."
Basically my car only has a lid and catback, so when I had the Stage III it chattered alittle. But I have heard that with more HP the chatter goes away. The stage II I have now is great. It's as smooth as silk and the pedal pressure is damn close to the same as stock.
