Clutch Switch?

Clutch Switch? My stock clutch switch went out after 80,000 miles and set the light. I replaced it with a brand new one from napa and it set the light again, maybe after 200 miles. Has anyone else had this problem? It is hard to believe that a brand new switch would go out that fast. Also wondering if there could be something else that it might be? The car starts and drives fine, it just sets the light and it is annoying to see all the time. Thanks for the help.
