Default Fidanza aluminum flywheel & LS7 clutch?

will the Fidanza aluminum flywheel & LS7 clutch/pressure plate work together? i'm assuming they will, since Byunspeed has the same Fidanza aluminum flywheel part number for both 98 - 02 LS1 f-bodies as well as the 2004 - 2006 GTO's.

I am pretty sure that they will work together but from my research, an LS7 clutch with a Fidanza flywheels weighs the same as a stock LS1 clutch and flywheel. So, if you are going for a lightweight rotating mass I don't think this is the way to go. But I don't have any personal experience with this, it's just what I've read.

Make sure you get the Corvette specific one PN:198171 the LS7 clutch won't work on the LS1 version PN:198571.

so by getting the corvette-specific flywheel and the LS7 clutch/pressure plate, are there any other parts that i will need to get while i'm in there that won't be standard LS1-based parts?

I'm running the LS7 w/fidanza. Make sure you get the LS7 style flywheel. They are different than LS1s and won't bolt up.

Oh, and running the stock LS7 PP & flywheel you'll gain 7 pounds total. Running the LS7 PP & Fidanza you lose 5 pounds total as there is a 12 pound difference.
