Broke a synchro
Broke a synchro Knocked the 2nd gear synchro out yesterday. Anyone know of a good place to get one or should I just not waste any time and get in touch with Six Speeds, Inc and redo em all while Im in there? The rest of the trans looks immaculate inside so Im not worried about the gears or anything else. But anyhoo, heres a couple pics of how the rest of my night went after that.

It was tight going in for a while, but it didnt grind until it went. So yours may be broken already. If it only grinds into that one gear I would say it already broke. You dont want to drive around with that, because if it starts to break into smaller pieces you might cause more problems.

how much would you say a syncro cost ? im just pissed cuz i bought it used and the guy isnt answering me. i might just sue him for 1000$ for the trans that he sold me i wish i used paypal because i would file a dispute and get money back
A synchro shouldnt be that much, I havent gotten any prices yet though so it might be more than I think, lol.
