My car recently stuck in 4th after it had started to kick out of 3rd.... So i figured it must a problem in one of theforks or something in the transmission.... i removed the tranny and when i got the thing out it shifted through the gears just fine.... i have no idea what could possibly be up with that...
i am taking the transmission to a mechanic on thursday, but i would like some ideas on what could possibly be up with this. you know dont want to have to spend alot of money when i shouldn't... its a m6 tranny

It likely has the same old issues of the 3/4 fork & the 2/3 slider keys broke.
But be prepared, wont know what it needs till it's tore down & inspected.
