Default How come this clutch setup is so cheap?

Im looking to get a new clutch/flywheel, and have been browsing looking for a stock z06 clutch 01-04. This link from ebay has a brand new kit that seems awfully low priced.....is this what Im looking for....ie the same thing that comes stock in an ls6...Thanks guys.

You get what you pay for. I'm poor and when I get a clutch, I'm buying a Textralia OZ-700. Sure, it's $1000 but I'm not going to have to worry about pulling it out in 2000 miles because it failed.

But isnt this the oem clutch that came on 01-04 z06's from the factory? Thats all I want, why would that be predisposed to fail at 2000 miles? Im not really making alot of power, I just need to change my clutch cause it has 60k on it.

No, that clutch is not the GM clutch that came from the factory. That one is made by EXEDY.

Exactly.. I want something that will hold up to my Engine..I've thrashed every Auto that was bolted to it, so hopefully a T56 with a damn good Clutch will hold up.

Which one you getting, I'm gettin the Z-grip.

I'm getting the Z grip as well. As for replacing the clutch just because it has 60K on it... why? I'm running 12.4's on my STOCK 150K clutch and it's not slipping a bit. I'm amazed as well, but I know it's not going to hold up to dragstrip abuse for very long.
