Freshly built from Thompson Motorsports (texas) and have decided to go another route. This was their premium shortblock that came with a high flow melling oil pump, timing chain and howard's cam
TMS Stage III LQ408 iron block bored to 4.030"
Callies Compstar 4.00" crank (24x reluctor)
K1 h beam forged rods with Arp bolts
-15cc diamond pistons
Arp mains installed
317 heads freshened up by apple machine shop (Yorktown, VA). They took .005" off mating surface. BTR 660 springs /titanium retainers, valve seals installed by them.
BTR trunnion upgraded rockers
TSP 7.425" hardened pushrods
Morel lifters
LS6 Valley cover
Howards Cam 236/250.625/.625 115lsa
Proform tall Valve covers (black)
Everything is brand new besides the rocker arms that have the btr trunnion upgraded.
Motor has never been ran.

I’ve updated the photos with the build sheet. Should be 9:5:1 compression ratio with the 317 heads. The guys at Thompson Motorsports really know how to build motors. I have to give it to them for sure!! Quality stuff. Engine is immaculate. And I like how they stencil their name to the block and mains. I decided to buy this motor to swap it out with my original 12,000 mile ls1 camaro. Not the best idea at the time so I’m going another route.
