Freshly built from Thompson Motorsports (texas) and have decided to go another route. This was their premium shortblock that came with a high flow melling oil pump, timing chain and howard's cam
TMS Stage III LQ408 iron block bored to 4.030"
Callies Compstar 4.00" crank (24x reluctor)
K1 h beam forged rods with Arp bolts
-15cc diamond pistons
Arp mains installed
317 heads freshened up by apple machine shop (Yorktown, VA). They took .005" off mating surface. BTR 660 springs /titanium retainers, valve seals installed by them.
BTR trunnion upgraded rockers
TSP 7.425" hardened pushrods
Morel lifters
LS6 Valley cover
Howards Cam 236/250.625/.625 115lsa
Proform tall Valve covers (black)
Everything is brand new besides the rocker arms that have the btr trunnion upgraded.
Motor has never been ran.

text me (407-951-0410) i'm in Goode,VAI’ve updated the photos with the build sheet. Should be 9:5:1 compression ratio with the 317 heads. The guys at Thompson Motorsports really know how to build motors. I have to give it to them for sure!! Quality stuff. Engine is immaculate. And I like how they stencil their name to the block and mains. I decided to buy this motor to swap it out with my original 12,000 mile ls1 camaro. Not the best idea at the time so I’m going another route.
