Description:
Going to a 4L80 setup whenever I get the car back together so decided to go ahead and sell the T56.
It is in good condition, all forward gears are in great condition, shifts smooth and never grinds.
The transmission is original to the car and was only used with typical N/A bolt-ons (cam/exhaust)
It did have an occasional issue getting into reverse at idle, but it turns out that may have been due to the clutch master cylinder going. If not it is the reverse synchro which can be flipped (free fix) or replaced (about $100) - I planned to open up the back of the trans and inspect, but just don't have the time to mess with it.
Transmission will include the slave and GTO shifter assembly (bottom half only - what you see here, already have someone who wants the actual **** and top half)
I would HIGHLY prefer to sell this in the Oklahoma City area as freight will be costly, however, Im not completely objected to it, so pm me and I can get a quote to you.
I would even be willing to drive a bit to meet up from someone from a neighboring state or more rural area.
Price is OBO of course, I also have a Monster Stage 3 clutch Id be willing to make it a combo with for $1650 total.
