So, what I have for sale is a very used 97 Z28 car with a lot of replacement parts, aftermarket parts, and parts from a previous wrecked 96 SS. I am in St Augustine, FL. I have nothing to hide here, ask away. I'm glad to be brutally honest about everything and anything with this car. This is not a show car. It's not even running at this time... Well, technically it runs but, it just started burning coolant and getting coolant in the oil. It has not been run very long at all with the issue (literally less than 30min combined). Was thinking about pulling the motor out and making it right again but,.. just not enough time or space to do it so, time to move on and let someone else play. So many parts and pieces amassed over the years and I'm looking to sell it all but have decided to divide it up some (car as is, and then there's the other stuff I have laying around we can discuss also). The 97 z28 body has 120516 miles on it. I purchased it as a roller to swap over all of my savable parts from my prior 96SS that I wrecked in 2009. This 97 z28 body had apparently been rode hard and put away wet before I got it. I never intended it to be a show car or even really clean... just wanted everything to work reliably (and it has for 9 years). I put a few recent photos here but, I have tons more and can/will take more of anything anybody wants to see. I have a google voice number I use for selling stuff on swipswap and craiglist--- 9 0 4 - - 4 1 3 - - 1 6 0 5. It will not ring me if you call but, It can take voice messages. I would prefer text messages as its easier to keep up with who is asking what and what was said previously. I check it about once a day. sorry if I'm not super speedy at responding at first. Trust me, I want to sell my stuff so, I'll get back to you. anyway, here's all the stuff I got.....

ENGINE :
- rebuilt 355 LT1 motor (about 70k miles on it)
- LE2 heads and LE 218/224 cam (about 30k miles on them)
- hardened pushrods

- new water pump & 160* thermostat

- BMR upper panhard relocation bar (space for bigger exhaust over the axle if desired)

===========================
===========================
STUFF NOT INSTALLED BUT ALSO FOR SALE, SEPERATELY. or, we can discuss/haggle about these things further possibly:

- LS1 lid with stock LS1 rad mount, also with extra stainless deflector piece to direct/force more air up. (this is not installed, was planning on it eventually)
- QA1 325lb springs (for the front - not installed on this car, was from my previous car - in great condition)
- QA1 single adjustable front shocks (not installed on this car, was from my previous car - one needs rebuilt, seal is leaking)
- stock 10bolt rear with 3.42 gears (no issues, was in car when I got it and only swapped out to try 4.10s)
- stock LT1 steel driveshaft with new U-joints and balanced (not in car, swapped out to try aluminum DS)
- NEW dashboard plastic piece (not installed yet)
- NEW black headliner (not installed, still in plastic)
- 98-02 SS 10-spoke rims painted black (not on car, sitting in garage, no tires, needs either touch up or repainted-some paint flaking off)
- NEW Mcnord front bumper from 6litereater (LT1 upper and LS1 lower blended, brand new still in plastic). I have pictures if your not familiar and cant find it anywhere (6litereater site gone now).
- center console from 97 (was in car, now just sitting in garage)
- Autotap diagnostics, data logging and code reading software and cable. (works great, no issues)
- I have quite a few odds and ends parts as well. extra tail lights, marker lights, mirrors, wiring, hood struts, nuts&bolts, etc. I even have the delteq opti-direct ignition system I was using before the LTCC.... although, the delteq stuff is missing a wire or two needed to hook up---could probably be made or maybe ordered?
===========================
===========================

Here's a video I just made(Jan. 5, 2019) to demonstrate it still runs and give a quick walk around idea of the car:
-

Here are some short videos of the car a few years back I also have on youtube.

I believe this was right after I put the heads in.
-
-

And here's when I was getting it tuned at Tunersinc in Jacksonville :
-

And here's another of it running in the 8th mile a while back. nothing impressive..

11/22/18 bump. I've gotten a few questions about parting it out. I really want to sell it whole and leave that to somebody else if they choose to. So, as of right now, I'm still not looking to do a part out. space and time limit what I can do in that sense.

Cool car, free bump.

In regards to your lt1 edit, usually the vpw circuit goes bad on the obd2 to Serial cable. I just picked up a used ls1edit to play with, did a continuity test on the vpw pin and had nothing, ten dollar cable off amazon and it works just fine now. Might be worth the investment to make the car more appealing.

good luck with the sale!

12/30/18 - alrighty then...... asking price drop to $3500. Probably be my last drop. Dont expect to haggle unless you show up with a trailer and cash in hand. hehe... I might pursue some other options before considering going any lower. I have some car-addiction-enabling friends so now I potentially have two places I can leave the car long term and fix it up slowly. buuuut,... between wife & kids & fulltime job & college & whatever else, Im still thinking I need to just free up some breathing room in my shed, driveway, and tiny one car garage.

1/5/19 - Bump. altered how I'm selling this now. dropped price to 2700 and seperated out the parts not currently installed. Not sure if my edit on the original post already bumped it... but I'm bumping here in case it did not. Sorry if I'm in violation of bump rules.. not trying to be crazy or anything just want to alert folks to some changes.
