  • Price $300 - $3,900
  • Location Saint John, IN, 46373, USA
  • VIN 0000000000000
Description:

Please read entire ad before asking questions. Yes, the car is "run and drive" and can literally be driven home as is, but who in their right mind would do that? Bring a trailer.

Car is restorable as it sits and probably more solid than 95% of the "solid roller projects" out there. But, I have no illusions - it is burnt. Besides, with no paint/bondo, there is no cover-up. What you see is truly what you get.

I'm open to package deals, or anything that results in me doing less work to recoup my losses (my work schedule sucks):
A. Whole Car: $9800
B. Engine, Trans, Gas Tank, and Exhaust: $7000
C. Roller (everything else): $3500

I *can* deliver within 500 miles of Crown Point Indiana if you pay for gas and a crappy hotel.

Observations on the car body / listing of parts:
- NASA-spec bolt in roll cage
- quick release steering wheel
- Grand Prix GXP Leather seats (left over from an unrelated part out - not burnt)
- Corbeau racing seat mounts
- aluminum/plastic radiator for S10 pickup
- BMW M5 cooling fan with hand fabricated steel shroud
- Motorsports AGM 12 pound battery
- front bumper hand-fabicated from structural aluminum
- front aero splitter is the maximum size allowed for SCCA CAM-T and TT U2 rules
- Fiberglass Nose and hood were not impacted by the fire (they still need cleaned/repainted).
- trunk lid is good, trunk floor patched above frame rails
- access door in trunk for fuel pump
- doors are solid / rust free but have melted lexan in them
- driver side rear quarter section is solid / rust free
- passenger side rear has body work due to prior accident
- front quarters solid (driver side has dimples from prior body work, no holes or rust)
- Clean Indiana Title, no liens, brands or other issues.
The wheels pictured in this section ARE NOT included or for sale.

It really sucks that you lost such an awesome ride
i have been following your build for some Time and I am working on a similar build of a 1980 TA

I know it says at the bottom that the wheels are not for sale but do you have any plans for them?

Man I hate to see this. I'm doing an LS swap on my Trans Am now. You're not too terribly far from me (southern IN), I might be interested in some stuff from you. Let me do some thinking!

Totally stock internally, but i do have the advanced induction cam and dual springs left from my LS1 build. Been toying with the idea of putting them in but never got around to it. I also have h beam rods for a possible de-stroke build sitting on the shelf.

And i was *just* in Spencer IN last weekend. The trip isnt too bad. I get down to Indy about once a month, and will be in Carbondale IL in a couple weeks. We can always arrange for a drop off if you end up liking the car. I'd throw that in with the deal.

Thanks Scotty. I have a couple "complete car" offers in the works, and would like to give those a couple days to pan out before beginning with part out.

The control arms are not damaged, and the del-alum bushings are in perfect shape.

Sorry, the one deal that is confirmed (money paid, punch list of parts wanted agreed upon) involves all three of those parts. Two other deals in the works (but not paid yet) are focused on the engine and thr entire rear suspension.

Damn, wish I would have seen this. I'd have bought the entire front subframe.
