Description:
Testing the waters. I'm considering letting my baby go. I have too many cars, so I'm trying to free up some space. Not desperate or in any rush to sell.
Car is located in CA. Passes smog with flying colors. Was born a z28 w/ leather and T-tops. Converted to SS with factory Ram air hood(not in pics), and bumpers. It has SLP exhaust with SLP rear bumper uninstalled. Was converted to 6 speed at the dealership when it was close to new.
The motor is 100% bone stock ls1 untouched. Stock T56 with hurst short shifter.
Since the 10 bolt was geared for an auto, I re-geared it to 4.30 and installed and Eaton true trac diff.
All the mods/upgrades done to the car are in the suspension, chassis and brakes. The speakers have also been upgraded to components along with a 7" touch screen and factory monsoon system that's been properly re-wired with the speakers to function as intended. I have the stock radio and stock steering wheel w/ airbag to go with.
The interior is 9.8 out of 10 for a 20+ year old car, as you can see. A\c works perfectly. Weatherstripping is all like new. Everything works perfectly on the car.
Upgrades:
Staggered c5 Replicas
brand new 305/35 Toyo R888r Drag radials. brand new275/40 nexen n4erra tires
-Brand new slotted R1 concepts rotors front and rear
-Hawk performance ceramic pads
-Hotchkiss sway bars
Spoohn endlink conversions
-Spoohn adj. Torque arm with cross member/relocation and optional DS safety loop
-Hawks complete tubular suspension package:
Front adj. A-arms with poly
-strut tower brace
-rear adj tubular LCAs
-adj control arm relocation brackets
-adj tubular trackbar
-all new SAE hardware to match/fit the bushings properly.
-I am meticulous with my cars and installs, so everything was installed with time and care to ensure proper function. Even little things like shaving down the bushing sleeves for a precise fit.
-I upgraded the fuel pump to a 340lph drop in pump from hjiflowfuel because I had plans to start diving into the motor, but changed my mind. The pump comes with lifetime warranty.
-The car also comes with SLP lid and the factory airbox/lid.
-only thing that's been changed on the motor is the upper radiator hose and the cruise control\traction control motor has been removed with facory throttle cable installed. I still have the cruise\traction motor to go with the car. Everything else is completely STOCK!
-new Eibach sportline springs
-new KYB adjustable shocks front and rear
-I replaced all the balljoints and tierods with Moog. Suspension Bushings are all Poly and brand new.
-lower strut spacers and rear coil spacers have been installed to bring the car back up an inch
-UMI subframe connectors
-the doors and rear wheel wells have been sound deadened with FatMat dynamat
-20mm wheel spacers added for a wider trackwidth. The car handles absolutely amazing. Suspension is plush. No rattles, squeaks, vibrations or unusual noises.
-I have re-tuned the car for 91 octane. Removed the skip shift and speed limiter and traction control. The TC can be flashed back in(if desired).
-the car has a Borla catback exhaust on it. I also have a Full 3" stainless steel exhaust with off road X pipe and SLP center exit tips with full SLP center exit rear bumper uninstalled.
I might be forgetting a few things.
The car has been vinyl wrapped in Satin Blue Metallic with black stingray racing stripe on the ram air hood and wing.
But Other than that, what you see is what you get. These F-bodies are practically impossible to find with unmolested engine/trans/interior, like this, with very low miles. The car is an absolute gem for a F-body.
like I said, i'm just testing the waters. I've put about $8k into the car in upgrades this past year. All new parts have less than 2k miles on them.... I'd like to get at least $16k for the car.
