Description:

MWC Fab 9” for sale, under 2k miles on it. Includes TA/TA relo x-member that were included from MWC. Includes MWC 3" aluminum DS (t56, slip yoke rated to 800 hp). Rear and DS both sub 2k miles.

- Stock width
- back braced, tow loops, transverse mounted, fill cap
- 4 channel backing plates (MWC accident)
- 35 spline axels, 1/2” strange studs
- Pro modular iron center
- Accepts LS brakes
- 411 gears
- Spool
- Strange billet U- joint caps
- Powder coated

The pinion seal does seep, and did so out of the box. Its very slow and might leave one drip on the floor - it didn’t bother me.

$3200 picked up from STL for the rear/TA/TA relo x member. Not interested in trades - I’m getting out of the car game for a few years. Rear was broken in right, per MWC directions.

Wow good luck. 4 Channel rears are hard to find used. I'm not sure the auto in my car would jive with 4.11's otherwise we'd be talking.

The perches on the axle look identical to my MWC 9" and I'm running an OEM sway. I think this rear will work fine with it.

Did you ever have any issues with this setup? Any high speed vibrations perhaps? Any gear whine?

Honestly no, the main issue I had was the seepy pinion seal. I did notice a slight vibration over 80ishbMPH on the highway, which I attributed to pinion angle.

As for whine, no I haven’t noticed any whine. Eric at MWC seems to have built the diff properly. I didn’t get the chance to race it a ton after break in and install, but I can say on the digs I did, the rear never missed a beat. I was very pleased with it.

Bump it back up - local sale fell through and I got sidetracked with other projects.

I have this exact axle, the perches do work with stock sway bar and my pinion seal weeps as well. From what I've read, this is super common with 9", has nothing to do with MWC. GLWS, that's a really, really nice axle.

Thanks for that. I am a firm believer in buying it once, and I spent a LOT on this axel/DS. I just cant afford to do this sport "right" anymore - Family/retirement goals come first. I was planning for ~750+ rwhp. This truly is a top notch setup.
