Buyers beware, I posted a WTB add for a corsa catback exhaust 2 weeks ago and received a PM from " MKV192 " he said he had one. He said he had one and would sell it for 550 shipped. So I ask for photos, he then sends me a corsa catback for a c5 vette. I told him it wont fiT on my car. He then says he also has one from his 2000 Camaro and then sends me more photos of different corsa catback. I asked for more detailed photos.....haven't heard back...

Today I posted an ad looking for chrome 10 spokes. received a PM from a user named "JJtech". He says to text him. Oddly is the same exact phone number I was texting about the corsa exhaust with. Profiles were created last month and he has no posts. I am still waiting for him to text me about the wheels.

Here is this scum bags number. 864-475-1946

Please use extreme caution when dealing with people here that have new profiles.

Sounds like the real problem is allowing new members with no posts to use the PM system. Who thought of that?

sad part is he will get someone, just a matter of when. Atleast good on the site for having a big red warning at the top of his message saying to be careful with PMs from new members with no posts, or something along those lines.

Yeah I still warn people to beware of low to no post count guys selling stuff, especially when they have 3, 4 or 5 year old account creations.

Got the same on an ls1 intake post. I noticed he used the same names for both messages and same number. Should have known when he wanted 150 bucks for an ls1 intake...
