WTB: Tremec T-56 Magnum
 

Looking for a Tremec T-56 Magnum that is ready to bolt into an f-body. I prefer new; however, I may consider a good used one if the price is right.

I'm also looking for an MGW short throw and a lower shifter boot.

You might have better luck e-mailing. He's pretty busy, but he will be totally honest with you, and his customer service is outstanding.

He called me back. I spoke with Jason. Wow, I am honestly impressed. This guy was great and patient. Not to mention, he gave me a great price when compared to the other vendors.

I am waiting on his written quote now. I am still waiting on a few others, but I am inclined to do business with him as of right now.

You will not be disappointed. He did my Stage 3 T56, and I just got one of his clutches installed today.

i just priced all these vendors. D&D gave me the best price on a race prepped magnum. some of these shops had outrageous prices. I'm not trying to take anything away from jason at texas drivetrain. I was originally going to ship my t56 to him... then decided to upgrade to a magnum.

Jason has provided me with the best price so far. Actually, for the price Jason gave me, it includes the bronze fork pads and cup; and the price was still cheaper than these other guys without any upgrades. Going to give D&D another call and see.

When do you get your T-56 back?

Edit: D&D just matched the price with TDP which I did not expect. Now I'm stuck between the two of them. But I am leaning a bit more towards TDP just because Jason was super great with me. I've been searching forums and Jason is superb in customer service. I did not see one complaint of TDP anywhere.

did you price the race prep options? D&D's price included the slip yoke. TDP did not. mine is still sitting here in the crate waiting to go in. I have the wide ratio version.

D&D includes a 1330 slip yoke but I need a 1350 so I told them to remove it from my order that way the pricing would be fair between both vendors.. The cost for yoke upgrade didn't make sense to me. No, I didn't ask for a race prep option. I assume that would be well past my budget.
