Is any massaging of the tunnel or any other permanent modifications required to fit this into an SS? What diameter is the driveshaft?

The driveshaft is 3.75" diameter. Considerable time and effort are needed to fit this transmission in to an SS car. Some cutting and/or other means of clearancing.

Damn, thanks for being honest. I'm not interested in cutting or denting anything right now. Good luck with the sale.

There are many variables that affect this. On the setup we had it stalled 3200-3400 (Chevy SS near full weight, 1100rwhp)

I will measure for you. Can you be more specific about the measurement you need?
