Hi. I have a rear mount turbo that i put together here in australia. Im running a ls 6 liter thats built with oliver rods and je racing pistons that made 591hp on the engine dyno in n/a form. I had a s475 on it with the .9 t4 that created too much back pressure as the rear wheel was not big enough. so i have swapped it out for the s480 96mm t6 1.32 its the 177287 now its alive and a hell of alot of fun. The boost comes in at about 4000 to 4500 at the moment and we rev it to 7500. And realy all hell breaks loose. I will say It does need a tune touch up but the afrs are fine so im not hurting it. Im wanting to know is there anything i can do to this unit to make it come alive at say the 3000 3500 rpm mark as thats where the converter is. I have found no comparison to the t6 1.32 for saying dropping the ar down to t6 1.15 will work eigther or if its worth it for any gain in response. What does a race cover actually do? do you put a lighter wheel in them to spool these units a bit earlier?

    Hi Jose,

I have just purchased a bullseye compr 75 and wanted to know if you could work your magic on it with a billet wheel and ball bearing upgrade and what other options you have available for it. It's going on a 2.0 L and has a 1.10 a/r divided rear housing on it now should I change it to a .96 a/r what are your thoughts ?

    Thanks for your time,
    Arek

ps. I sent you a pm but it wouldn't work so I emailed you and posted here.

    Hi,
I would like some prices on the billet 88's something like GT-5533 88T ET-R billet and the others.
the combo is LS 370ci street/strip looking to make the most out of it with good spool.
and how do you compare the GT55 to the S500SX4 88.
    Thanks,

    Abdullah

Dr. "T"....need your advice. I have totally forged LSX motor 430 cubic inch six bolt heads and Jessel style rockers. I am trying to decided which turbos to use (Forced Inductions). I have looked at TC 78 and T76 and considered the TC78 with race housing (GTM). I have also considered the Garrett GTX 4294R or GTX 4202R. The price seems to be pretty high for the Garrett, not sure why (is this justifiable). Looking for about 1150 to 1250 to the tires and would like to have it start spooling before 4000RPM. I have a six speed corvette. If it were you and money would not be an issue which turbo would you go with. I really appreciate your advice and knowledge. Thanks........
