    Good morning, I followed your recommendation on the AFR valve springs. Their great and the car runs great except...........the transmission shift fine, the 3600 converter is a blast but when the torque converter locks the car shudders a lot. In my 69 years I've never seen one this bad. I'm off on the Hot Rod Power Tour with my nephew in 10 days and was wondering how to correct this. The cam isn't real smooth at 2000 RPM and I know that's part of my problem. I have a 242/248 cam with almost .600 lift on a 112 CL.

    I've heard that your car runs great and was wondering who did the tuning. My converter locks up at 45 MPH right now but I've had it out on the Interstate and it is still a bit rough at 70. (2300 RPM) I have 3.73 gears. When I say it shudders (cam surge, whatever) it feels like it will take the U-joints out in the first 100 miles. It's that violent. Any help would be appreciated.     Hey Ive been asking around and people keep telling me I need talk to you I have just recently bought a 95 impala ss and the original motor has over 200,000 miles but it still runs. But the engine Is in no way to be considered dependable even on a way to the corner store. I know I want to get the car down to an 10or11 second quarter mile and I also know I want a 383 stroker. But I don't know if I should rebuild the original motor, and bore it over. Or just go with a zz383 from gmpp, or whoever else. I was also looking into procharger but don't know which 1 would be compatible with that engine or which 1 to go with for the matter. I also don't know much about the heads and cam combination I would use or even exhaust for that matter. And I'm also not worryied to much about poor gas mileage because at best it would just be my weekend car so if u could atleast send me in the right direction it would be highly appreciated
