- Oct 30, 2016 02:26 PMHello. I read a post from you stating that an fbody AC compressor fit a C5 ac bracket. What offset does the fbody ac pulley end up with? Vette? Fbody? Or truck? Im assuming vette. Thanks in advance
- Jun 1, 2014 02:16 PMHi john
Been looking for driveshaft info
Using a L76/6L80E combo from a 09 Pontiac G8 GT
In a 1952 chevy fleetline. Looking for how people are
Adapting driveshafts from the A6 to (in my case) a
Strange center section
How have you handled this situation

( build link - 1952 fleetline update ) - Feb 7, 2011 06:03 PMRick,
I used to rework my own OEM harness. but now days, I just buy a new harness from John over at Speartech This was one of those things that was more trouble than it was worth. One bad joint or one wrong pin in a plug and you can spend HOURS chasing it! Speartech's harness was just money well spent in my opinion. John will make the harness just like I want and make the wiring whatever length I specify. I never could see the wisdom in eating up valuable real estate under the dash. All my cars Vintage Air and there just ain't much room left. I bring my wiring in through the driver's side cowl vent opening since they are capped off when you install the VA system. All the wire penetrations are out of sight under the fender. I even weld up the fuse block hole in the firewall when I slick out the firewall and run all the front wiring up behind the fenders as well. When you look in the engine compartment, you see almost no wiring.
Regards, John McGraw - Feb 6, 2011 07:46 PMJohn, what do you do with your wiring harnesses? Do you have someone redo them? I was looking at mounting my ecm in the same place, front left fender well, wheel well.. Thanks for your input..
